Hi, I am Ashutosh Pathak. In my late twenties, I am just trying to make the best of the opportunities I come across in life. Currently, my life seems to be going straight into deep tech so that’s where I focus the most. Although, I love deep tech as much as any tech enthusiast, I love breaking things down more! I love public speaking, meeting lots of amazing new people, and sharing my thoughts on tech out loud. I’m not very good at coding so I will keep this blog focused on breaking things down and how technology works in the hopes that you’ll also get some value out of reading it.
Why I write
I write to simply share my experiences and view on technology. I want to make sure that I document what I understand at the moment so that when I look back at it, I’ll see the bigger picture and learn to extract patterns in tech and in my life.
Another reason is that I want to showcase my thought process to any potential partners/employers who are looking for a talent at the intersection of all the things that I’m good at – my strengths.
In the end, I want to urge you to write as well! Just pick up your phone/laptop or your notepad and start writing about whatever comes to your mind. Writing something, whatever it may be, broadcasts your knowledge into the world. Something that only the elite had access to just a century ago!
My Experience
I have a bachelors and masters in Computer Science with a concentration in Machine Learning. So far, I have gotten the chance to work as Software Engineer and wear multiple hats within this role at different organisations. I have worked in Software Testing, Automation, DevOps, MLOps, Data Engineering, and Data Science.
Nowadays, I spend most of my time as an AI consultant where I get to do a bunch of cool stuff! I help my clients realize the power of AI tools in enhancing their workflows and company-wide productivity. I do everything from Finetuning LLMs to traditional Machine Learning Predictive Modeling, and more.
My Journey
Since my childhood, I remember myself tinkering with toys—opening them up and assembling back the pieces. Later, when I got my first computer, I used to love opening it up and experimenting with different parts like the power unit, hard drives, and the motherboard. I have ruined my fair share of computer parts.
This was the spark that ignited my dream of building things using software.
